Making Afro beat + Mistakes i made when starting out as a Music Producer (Pidgin English SPEAKING)
One major thing i’d advise you to always do is to make your production work or even as an Artist simplify your writing so as it can translate well to your audience even if you can make lullaby melodies.
Why i’m saying this is because our audience have low attention span now, so many things are being thrown at them by seconds so we don’t want them to start to process our Music too much if not they’d lose interest.
We want to capture them under few seconds of listen, in my wealth of experience as a Music Producer i understand this that Audience love melodious songs, if you can take time out to research the top 100 songs on billboards you’d be able to identify similarities between them, making them worthy of being in the top list.
